ABOUT ME

Ciao! My name is Roberta and I am Italian. I live in the south of England with my partner and our dog. Over the past years in the UK, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in special needs schools and then, after gaining my Teaching Qualification at Portsmouth University, I worked in Secondary Schools as a Language Teacher.

I know from experience that with the increase in class sizes and the rising demands placed on teaching, alongside the perceived barriers to learning modern foreign languages, making progress can indeed be tricky. Learners in larger classes face challenges such as limited exposure to native speakers, varying levels of motivation, and the complexity of grammar and pronunciation.

This is why I decided to embark on a new adventure and to share my love for languages with everyone in the world with on line and in person tutoring.

I aim to use creative strategies and foster a playful, supportive environment to transform obstacles into stepping stones on the language-learning journey.

As a qualified language teacher and member of the Tutor Association, I blend expertise with enthusiasm to bring languages to life. Whether you're struggling with tricky grammar or aiming for fluency, I’m here to turn learning into an adventure.
